Wash the apples and cut off their tops (don’t throw them away, you will need them to cover the stuffed fruits). Remove the apple pulp from each apple with help of a metal spoon. The apples should keep the shape. Leave them aside and prepare the filling.
Place the almond flour, halva, honey and water in a bowl. Mix them quickly until you get a creamy and thick filling. Add the raisins and mix it again. Stuff the apples with the ready filling and cover with the tops.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the apples in a special dish lined with a piece of baking paper. Sprinkle them with cinnamon, anise stars and crushed cardamom pods. Place a small piece of ghee on each of them.
Bake the apples for about 35 minutes. They shouldn’t fall apart or get burned, so just keep an eye on them. Serve the dessert warm, just after taking it out of the oven. Yummy!
